Scholarship Information

The Bendigo Bank Kwinana Business Studies Scholarships provide opportunities for young people from diverse backgrounds to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to reach their potential and help them progress their education in Business studies.

Through the Bendigo Bank Kwinana Scholarship, Old Flames supports Gilmore College Business Studies students in Years 11 and 12.

  • Year 11 (1x $2000, spread over Year 11 and Year 12)
  • Year 12

Application Process

Students interested in applying for the Bendigo Bank Business Studies Scholarship may be required to complete an Application Form in which they explain:

  • why they should be awarded the scholarship
  • how the scholarship would assist their intended Senior School studies
  • how they can make a positive contribution at Gilmore College during their senior years
  • their ambitions for the future.

Selection Criteria

  • Recipients must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
  • Applicants for a Year 11 scholarship must be completing Year 10 in the year of application
  • Scholarship recipients must be enrolled at Gilmore College and remain enrolled through Year 11and/or Year 12 following the awarding of the scholarship
  • The scholarship recipient will be selected following advice from Student Services, in consultation with the College Executive
  • Applicants should demonstrate a willingness to make a positive contribution to their senior years at Gilmore College.

Scholarship Recipient Responsibilities

Applicants are also expected to:

  • complete and submit their application accurately and by the stated deadline
  • take responsibility for providing their Semester 1 report and any other required documentation if needed
  • attend the scholarship presentation and post-presentation function, where applicable, and be prepared to introduce themselves to sponsors and participate in photographs
  • demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to their studies.
