The Workplace Learning program is integral to the VET Specialist Programs. Starting in Year 10, interested students can immerse themselves in various work experiences during Week 10 of each term. From Year 11, students participate in work placements as part of an Authority-Developed Endorsed Program. Our Workplace Learning Coordinator oversees these placements, which occur during school hours with a select group of host employers. Workplace Learning is a critical component of the program as it exposes students to real work-life scenarios and provides employers the opportunity to “try before they buy”.
