The Follow the Dream program at Gilmore College identifies Aboriginal students who are already showing signs of success within their primary school history and assists them to stay at secondary school and work towards a university entrance. These students have achieved success with high levels of attendance and achievement in the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN).

The Program aims to steadily increase the number of Aboriginal students completing Year 12 and going on to university. A university level education opens doors to satisfying employment opportunities with the prospect of eventually undertaking meaningful work at a highly skilled level.

A highly skilled teacher manages the program in collaboration with a Steering Committee. The Committee is comprised of College, Department, community, and parent/caregiver representatives.
