Our talented Follow the Dream Coordinator Dave Smith, Education Assistant Kelly Collard and Clontarf Operations Officer Ashley Collard co-wrote a song for NAIDOC Week titled Always Was… Always Will Be.  Mr Smith applied for a PALS (Partnership, Acceptance, Learning and Sharing) Reconciliation Grant to engage the services of well-known Aboriginal rapper Dallas Woods to rap the lyrics and create accompanying music.  The song speaks of the sovereignty of our First Nations People of this land and is currently being played on the 100.9fm Noongar Radio Station.

Students narrated the lyrics and used the song as part of a project filmed here at Gilmore College.  You can view their work here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jjDxm1cQK-ZXLmxBt1bcnT9iIR1el87g/view?usp=sharing
