Dear families,
We would like to remind you that Friday 4 July is the cutoff deadline for claiming the second round of the WA Student Assistance Payment (WASAP).
WASAP is a State Government initiative that offers a cost-of-living payment of $250 for each secondary school student in Western Australia to provide financial relief and assist families with their children’s schooling.
All Western Australian school students with a valid WA student number (WASN) are eligible to claim this payment. You can find the WASN on school reports, previous NAPLAN results or student’s SmartRider. If you cannot locate the WASN, please contact the school for assistance.
Claims can be done through the ServiceWA app. For more information on other claim methods, please click on the following link: WA Student Assistance Payment.
School officers will be able to assist with in-person queries from next Thursday, 26 June.
In the meantime, families can get free in-person help at a ServiceWA Digital Assist Kiosk (available in select public libraries, click the link to find a location near you) or calling the ServiceWA App Support Team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 13 33 WA (13 33 92) or email support@digital.wa.gov.au.
Please note that claims must be submitted by the primary carer of the eligible student, not by the student themselves.
Thank you.
Warm regards,
